One of the key ideas of the implementation of the European Higher Education Area is the competency-based learning. Among skills more demanded by employers are transversal competences as oral and writing expression (in mother and foreign tongue), aptitude for teamwork and moral reasoning.In this paper is analyzed a moral dilemma to develop ethics competences in industrial engineering. This dilemma is described and results of its application with students of mechanical engineering are analyzed. Results are promising and are certainly they certainly form the base of future researches.Keywords: EHEA, skills, moral development, ethics, didactic innovation.
