Founded in Bilbao (Spain) in 1926, DYNA was created to promote the dissemination of engineering knowledge within the industrial and scientific community. Since its origin, the journal has maintained a strong connection with industry and applied engineering, particularly within the Spanish-speaking engineering community.

Today, DYNA’s mission is to evaluate and disseminate high-quality knowledge through the publication of original and relevant research in multidisciplinary engineering. The journal ensures academic rigor and integrity through a strict double-blind peer review process and promotes the transfer of scientific and technological advances to industrial practice.
