The MIT publication, Technology Review, thus heads its Editorial for the July-August issue: Power and Energy, playing on the double meaning of the word ‘power’, both power (electrical?) and power, in the sense of supremacy or authority. The issue, in turn, is entitled THE ENERGY SHIFT, which can be interpreted both as ‘a shift in energy’ and as ‘the time of energy’, in the need to consider very seriously the future of energy. He also apostrophises that this Editorial is a debriefing of principles, already dealt with, but with an urgent need to reconsider them in depth

When the article Something more about particle accelerators (https://www.revistadyna.com/busqueda/algo-mas-sobre-aceleradores-de-particulas) appeared in DYNA in March 2012, the detection of the Higgs boson at CERN's Large Hadron Collider (LHC), which was made public on 4 July 2012, had not yet been announced. This completed the picture of elementary particles that we anticipated and that heads this news item, since the Higgs boson, together with the field that accompanies it, is what provides the mass to the other particles that interact with it.
The European Community intends to make a definitive effort for the deployment of hydrogen technology with a comprehensive action plan called IPCEI Hydrogen. It targets "innovation, demonstration and deployment of hydrogen technology" in the EC. It consists of four clusters of projects covering the entire hydrogen value chain: production, import, transport and end-use. The four clusters (waves) are: Hy2Tech, Hy2Use, Hy2Infra and Hy2Move. The first two were launched already in 2022 and the second two will be officially communicated in 2023 and 2024. Hy2Tech
SMR (Small Modular Reactor) reactors are frequently mentioned in these NEWS items, although, except in China, where the first of them has been commissioned (https://www.revistadyna.com/noticias-de-ingenieria/nuclear-de-fision-unidades-grandes-o-pequenas-modulares), they are still only design projects or prototypes, more or less in their infancy. But the reality is that there is a favourable climate for the advancement of this technology.
