ragón is today, primarily, agricultural, and oriented toward agriculture and its derivatives, has been approached, until now, the problem of its economy and commercial and industrial development. But Aragon is not only agricultural. The Creator, wisely and generously, endowed with Aragon, with splendid greatness, in all the orders, and so our topography, we find the characters more opposites: the fertile shores, and immense plains of Zaragoza and the Bajo Aragon, the steppe lands of Monegros. the wild beauty of our incomparable Pyrenees, in Huesca; the Los Peñascales abrupt and deep valleys of Teruel. This variety in the topography is variety, also, in the possibilities of production; and those fields only expect to produce more and better, improve the means of work, to be taken appropriate crops, they defend themselves against pests, to listen to the technicians, their supporters and are carried to the implementing their projects. These mountains, in his eternal majesty, expect to be fully covered by lush vegetation, that would be an orderly restocking; that will be corrected their torrents, which waters are used, that jump and slide down its slopes, which are made roads in them and for them, so that the men visit know and, knowing, the amen. And these rocky hills, these valleys await you, in interminable wait, the generous hand that helps them to divest itself of its garments of poverty, revealing the immense wealth that in their guts saved. More than once were shaken of joy, the know of projects that would make exit to the surface the treasures, so many centuries hidden; ceded the slopes, and terraplenaron the valleys, to give way to life by the rails of the progress, and when the delivery seemed imminent, were suspended the work; and there are cegandose, little by little, those eyes that were opened in hopes of a bright future, and crumbling. one after the other, these works, that supported so many illusions.
