Within the framework of today's global downturn, the crisis in the construction sector has given rise to myriad articles and conferences on its relationship with unemployment rates, government plans, economic recovery, regulations, the CIP, the stock market, consumption, and so on. However, little has been said of the relationship between the crisis and accidents in construction works. This paper aims to present objective data on the impact that the current crisis is having on accidents in construction works, as well as the various interpretations thereof.
