Recent years have been marked by uncertainty about the future of engineering. We have seen the statements exchanged between the various professional associations and the political uncertainty of the case before the Spanish engineering. Dated December 26, the Council of Ministers decided to regulate the degree that will enable the profession of Engineer [1] and the master that will enable the profession regulated Engineer [2]. It was during the month of February this year, when these agreements were developed in separate orders, specifying the requirements for official university degrees that qualify for the profession of Industrial Engineers [3] and Industrial Engineer [4]. At the same, develop the basic skills that future professionals need to develop the Industrial Engineering and establishes the conditions of access for the Masters in Industrial Engineering. Determined the legal vacuum, the universities are in the need to reform their curricula, as according to Royal Decree 1393/2007, you can not offer any new entry plaza to the titles by the previous legislation in October 2010 [5]. However, most of the universities intend to introduce new titles in the 2009/2010 academic year, a year ahead of the proposed cap in the law. There are even universities that have already begun with new plans aimed at European level of higher education, such as Carlos III University and the Polytechnic University of Mondragon, among others.
