The enormous consumption of pulp of wood import requires at present to review and address the problem of its total or partial replacement by pasta of other fibers for easy retrieval and economic in our country. In the work of Dr. Schilling "Die Faserstoffe des Pflanzenreiches" is mentioned more than 200 kinds of plants of the fibers that can be drawn on purpose to the manufacture of paper, of which, in this lightweight summary, we will cover only a few whose results are known to us.
