A better performance in logistical operations can be a key element for the improvement of the competitiveness of organizations, much more when there is also cold storage, because the high energy consumption can present great opportunities for savings. A growing number of organizations are aware of this fact, so that in the present article is intended to provide guidance to the same on how to optimize their operations intralogisticas when counted with cold storage. It shows a battery of solutions, some very simple and others more complex, structured in three sections well differentiated and with different goals. As well, the first paragraph collects some alternatives to optimize the storage capacity available, in such a way that is achieved with the minimum possible volume respond to the needs of storage. In the second block addresses the issue of the energy performance of the facilities, through various solutions to minimize or even eliminate energy losses that may occur. Finally, it is shown a third group of alternatives on monitoring systems that can demonstrate compliance with the requirements in the field of temperature control, at the same time that can be used to optimize this process.ABSTRACT: A better performance in logistical operations could be a key issue to improve the competitiveness of organizations, even more when it has cold storage, because high energy consumption can have great opportunities for savings. Nowadays, more organizations are aware of it, so the aim of this article is to guide about optimizing intralogistical operations in cold storage. In this paper presents a numbers of technical solutions, varying degrees of technological complexity, classified into the three section with specific objectives. Thus, the first section collects some alternatives to optimize the available storage capacity, to achieve the minimum possible volume and responding to storage needs. The second section is about energy efficiency of facilities, showing solutions that minimize or even eliminate the energy losses. Finally, a third set of alternatives about control systems that ensure the requirements on temperature control, while can be used to optimize this process. Key Words: logistic, storage, warehouse, cold, cold logistic, intralogistic
