View factors and radiative flows from a solar sub-system, which is made up of a spherical absorber immersed into a spherical cavity with an aperture towards several solar flows, are mathematically obtained. Suitable values of view factors are deduced and possible materials to build the solar sub system are chosen considering their radiative properties. Additionally, radiative loss/gain is calculated and absorber temperature is iteratively estimated. Taking into account a couple of materials to build the absorber-cavity: graphite-silver, respectively, effects in graphs and tables are shown. As results of having the spherical absorber immersed into the cavity, an equality of flows impinging absorber, 88% of thermal efficiency and 2% of radiative loss are obtained under the given conditions. Keywords: Absorber, cavity, sphere, radiation, solar.
