Purchasing decisions in a purchasing traditional model continue a shortsighted vision based primarily on the cost of acquisition and without considering almost any other factor. For products whose useful life is relatively low, this approach can be considered as valid, but it has been shown that for goods with a long service life such an approach is not sufficiently accurate.
