Nanotechnology has favored the knowledge of materials, in terms of both behavior and atomic structure, at the nano-scale. Which has meant improving numerous products and creating new ones in almost all areas of science. In addition its multidisciplinary character will allow to be applied in the field of construction. This article presents some of the nanotechnological advances developed in building materials, paying special attention to the improvements that graphene offers in this field, as a result of its extraordinary electrical, mechanical, optical, barrier, etc. Properties.Keywords: nanotechnology, nanomaterials, construction, graphene, graphene oxide.
