In recent years, the maintenance sector has been under great pressure due to the increase in the complexity of physical assets, the increase of their costs and the need for greater availability in them. Several techniques have been used to make this sector a more efficient sector. Among the techniques that stand out is the Slim Maintenance. This technique is based on the precepts of Lean Thinking, a term coined in the 1990s by Womack.
