ABSTRACT The construction sector, being one of the main economic motors of recent times, is also has the highest industrial accident rate. Given the complexity it is impossible to attribute any single cause to this situation, which repeats year after year. The extreme sector growth has prevented the creation of a socio-industrial structure extant in others sectors like industry. Among the major causes for industrial accidents in the construction sector, we can high-light the production organisation, in particular, sub-contracting, which has been developed excessively leading to backward steps in terms of industrial health and safety. Other aspects we should not be ignored are employment quality, employees’ qualifications and training, employees’ participation not to mention their participation. Then, of course there is monitoring and control fulfilment of the effective standard. Key words: Subcontracting, Accredited Registrar of Companies, Book of Subcontracting, Training.
