Resumen
La situación actual de consumo desmesurado de energía nos está llevando a un punto de inflexión en la explotación de los recursos fósiles, los cuales están llegando a su punto de máxima extracción. Ante este panorama preocupante, en el que la energía juega un papel fundamental para el
desarrollo y crecimiento de cualquier sociedad, se están abriendo nuevas vías para la búsqueda de nuevas fuentes energéticas, entre las cuales,
el hidrógeno es la mejor situada y la más prometedora.

Abstract
Nowadays the energy consumption and the population are growing; in contrast, the fossil resources are decreasing dramatically because of his use. Not too far away, will take place the situation in which, there will not be fossil fuels resources which support the society development.
In this case the world will have to find new energy resources, and the best path in order to build a sustainability society for future generations, is to use the hydrogen generated via renewable energy, to build the new era, which has been called since 1970 as the Hydrogen Economy.
