ABSTRACTThis report aims at considering Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) to be an opportunity for businesses as an improvement of stakeholders relationships. Small and medium sized enterprises are a fundamental part of advanced economies as they highly contribute to job creation, Gross Domestic Product contribution and employment, therefore, CSR has to be achieved by this key element of the economy and society. SMEs have always been very close to CSR through their traditional local anchoring and its proximity to the community. This report illustrates how can be social responsible issues best attained by the medium and small businesses, in a straightforward and practical approach.
