The current competitive environment, characterized by the globalisation of markets and business, makes even more necessary than ever to bet on stable differentiating strategies among which the technology takes a leading role. In this bet companies seek allies and partners who support its strategy of technological development. But cooperation is not always easy. Firstly, the article focuses on the literature review on key issues and whose appearance or absence determine the success of collaborations. The article establishes a panel of six dimensions that should be considered in any model of collaboration. Finally, the article proposes the conceptual design established for this collaboration model, reviewed and validated by a panel of experts in the field.
