The so called Industry 4.0 promotes, among others, the use of Business Intelligence (BI) systems for the management of enormous data quantities coming from Big Data environments. BI systems comprise the applications, infrastructure, tools and best practices that permit the access to and the analysis of the information to improve - optimize decision making processes in both agility and performance. This article presents an implementation case of a Business Intelligence tool in a food industry company with BI characteristics where different data sources to offer information that improves the decisions taken by managers. This implementation shows that the combination and integration of different data sources (DI) via Business Intelligence tools permits obtaining not only an intuitive approach for the decision making but a really grounded and agile one that enables the improvement of business results.
