ABSTRACT: The aim of this article is to present the design process for a simple product using a multidisciplinary point of view that includes diverse knowledge areas such as aerodynamic design, structural design, ergonomic analysis, material selection, manufacturing process analysis, packing, ecological design, and recycling, as well as to present the prototype manufacturing and the experimental test of the end product. Technologies of reverse engineering have been used to obtain the design solutions of other companies. In addition, it is indispensable to analyze the sequence of use and the product’s interaction with both the user and the environment, so the main design specifications must be defined. This methodology has been applied to a simple product installed habitually in the wings of the light aircrafts, named vorticity generators (VG).Keywords: design, multidisciplinary, aerodynamic, eco.-design, structural, development, product
