The environment that public and private organizations have to face is characterized as uncertain. Under these conditions, the most suitable type of management is the Strategic Management. The Corporate Strategy defines the results that ought to achieve in long term and the Project Management implements the strategy in short term. In that way the success criteria is the alignment of the project in the corporate strategy.
The aim of this article is to revise the management tools available both practical and theoretical to measure the alignment, so that practitioners and academics can extend their knowledge in this topic.
