Nowadays empowerment is one of the most used strategies to enhance human resources helping them to develop and execute their capacities and/or skills that they didn't know they had or that were in latency, therefore reaching benefits for the organization and the individuals.

To accomplish a proper empowerment, the current state of the company has to be established to latter address the business transformation. Some empowerment limitations emerged when the activities and processes are not correctly understood by the workers, and also from the problems that workers have to face on a daily basis. Additionally, the identification of problems during the empowerment process helps to identify the boundaries for the responsibility assignments for the employees. However, in practice, there are no methods supporting the empowerment process focused on problems and its causes in order to determine responsibilities and improvement directions. With this premise, this article proposes a business empowerment analysis integrating tools related to the identification of causes and problems providing potential solutions to drive in a more efficient way the empowerment process.
