According to the International Energy Agency (IEA), despite the growing demand for electricity, the expansion of solar photovoltaic and wind power generation, the maintenance of nuclear power and a growing fleet of electric vehicles, the increase in CO2 emissions in 2023 will be less pronounced than in 2022, when we were coming out of the pandemic.
